THE RIGHT TO BE RICH
In The science of Getting Rich, Wallace states that, it is your right to be rich by having free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to your fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment.
The society is organized in a way that for a man to develop in mind, soul, and body or become the possessor of things he must have money/ must be rich.
A man will not rise to his greatest possible height in talent or development of his soul unless he has plenty of money to help him do so. We become successful by using things and those things are acquired by money.
To be content with less when you’re capable of enjoying more is sinful.
Who is rich? In The Science of Getting Rich Wallace says that rich is a person who owns all he wants for living life he is capable of.
It is abnormal not to admire abundance.
“Desire is possibility seeking expression or function seeking performance.”
The man who has nothing to give cannot fill his place as a husband or father, or as a citizen. It is in the use of material things that a man finds full life for his body, develops his mind, and unfolds his soul; ergo it is supreme importance to him that he should be rich.
You render to God and humanity no greater service than to make the most of yourself.
THERE IS A SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH
Wallace argues that the ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in Certain Way.
Being rich is not a matter of environment; two men can be in the same locality doing the same business one become rich and the other poor. It is not talents or abilities even people of below-average get rich. It is not even by being thrift in spending; many penurious people are poor, while many free spenders often end up rich. It can be concluded that people get rich as a result of doing things in a Certain Way.
IS OPPORTUNITY MONOPOLIZED?
NO man is kept poor because opportunity has been taken away from him or others have monopolized the wealth, and have put a fence around it. There is an abundance of opportunity for the man who will go with the tide, instead of trying to swim against it. There is more than enough for all of us. You are not deprived of opportunity. The workers are not being “kept down” by their masters, but their lack of doing things in Certain Way.
Formless Supply is at the command of those who will act and think in a Certain Way and those who don’t are doomed to remain where they are.
THE FIRST PRINCIPLE IN THE SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH
Number one principle of the science of getting rich is THOUGHT is the only power that can produce tangible riches from the Formless Substance.
A man cannot shape a thing until he has thought of that thing first. The thing must first exist in his thought that is how all things were created.
Thought, in thinking substance, produces shapes.
“There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.”

“The ability to think the way you want to think which helps you in doing things the way you want is the first step toward getting rich. To think what you want to think is to think TRUTH, regardless of appearances.”
To think according to appearance is easy; to think truth regardless of appearances is laborious, and requires the expenditure of more power than any other workman is called upon to perform, many shrinks from this labor because it is the hardest work in the world, particularly when the truth is contrary to appearances.
“Every appearance in the visible world tends to produce a corresponding form in the mind which observes it; this can only be prevented by holding the thought of the TRUTH.”
“To look upon the appearance of disease will produce the form of the disease in your mind, and ultimately in your body, unless you hold the thought of the truth, which is that there is no disease; it is only an appearance, and the reality is health.”
“To look upon the appearances of poverty will produce corresponding forms in your mind, unless you hold to the truth that there is no poverty; there is only abundance.”
“To think health when surrounded by the appearances of disease, or to think riches when in the midst of appearances of poverty, requires power; but he who acquires this power becomes a MASTERMIND. He can conquer fate; he can have what he wants.”
Stand on the truth and avoid all doctrine or magazines that advocate contrary to health, prosperity, abundance …et al.
INCREASING LIFE
To practice the science of getting rich get rid of the last vestige of the old idea that there is a Deity whose will it is that you should be poor, or whose purposes may be served by keeping you in poverty. It is God’s desire that you should get rich. He wants you to get rich because he can express himself better through you if you have plenty of things to use in giving him expression.
Every living thing must continually seek for the enlargement of its life, because life, in the mere act of living, must increase itself. A seed, in the ground, produces more seeds; a life, by living, multiplies itself.
Your thought must continuously be thoughts of expansion. You must never think that the supply is limited. You are to become a creator, not a competitor; you are to create, not to compete for what is already created.
Intelligent Substance will make things for you, but it will not take things away from someone else and give them to you, do not cheat or take advantage of others, do not covet for no man has anything of which you cannot have the like and without taking away from him what he has.
Nobody, by cornering the visible supply, can prevent you from getting what is yours.
That which makes you desire more money is the same as that makes a plant grow. It is life seeking fuller expression.
You do not want to get rich solely to enjoy mental pleasures, to get knowledge, to gratify ambition, to outshine others, to be famous…
“You want to get rich so that you may eat, drink, and be merry when it is time to do these things; so that you may surround yourself with beautiful things, see distant lands, feed your mind, and develop your intellect; so that you may love men and do kind things, and be able to play a good part in helping the world to find the truth.”
But remember that extreme altruism is no better and no nobler than extreme selfishness; both are mistakes.
God does not want you to sacrifice yourself for others so that you can secure his favor, He requires you to make most of yourself, for yourself, and for others, you can do that by becoming rich which is achieved by putting the science of getting rich in use.
HOW RICHES COME TO YOU
Riches come to you when you learn to deal with all men fairly; by giving every man more in VALUE than you take from him in CASH VALUE. If you’ve people working for you, you must take from them more in CASH VALUE than you pay them in WAGES; but you must also organize your business in such a way that an employee can advance a little every day.
Ask largely Jesus said, “It is your Father’s pleasure to give the kingdom.”
God is trying to live and do and enjoy things through humanity. God wants the pianist to play the piano. He wants us to cultivate our gifts and talent, He wants all those things because it is Himself that enjoys and appreciate them.
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” Philippians 2:13
Poverty and self-sacrifice are not pleasing to God; don’t look at poverty as part of the plan or necessity of nature. This is erroneous thought that makes many ashamed of asking for wealth.
GRATITUDE
You relate with the Substance that gives you everything you desire by a feeling of deep and profound gratitude.
Gratitude is the wire that connects you to God, is how you acknowledge Him.
“Draw nigh unto God, and He will draw nigh unto you.” We draw near to God by expressing our gratitude.
Ingratitude keeps people in poverty. Gratitude keeps us from falling into competitive thought.
You cannot exert more power without gratitude. Gratitude keeps you connected with Power. Jesus practiced gratitude, “I thank Thee, Father that thou hearest me.”
Faith is born of gratitude, grateful mind continually expect good things, and expectation becomes faith.
The moment you permit your mind to dwell with dissatisfaction upon things as they are, you begin to lose ground, and your mind will take the form of things you think about.
Deep continuous feeling of gratitude unifies your mind with Intelligence Substance and this is how you can remain in a creative plane.
